Spaghetti and Meatballs is one of my favorite meals! This meal brings me memories of my mom, my grandmothers, and it makes me super happy!! So, I made it last night for dinner, and that is MY sauce! =)
Have you read the book Eat, Pray, Love? Great book! I want to read it again, when school is over for this semester.
Love this passage from the book!!
“…people universally tend to think that happiness is a stroke of luck, something that will maybe descend upon you like fine weather if you’re fortunate enough. But that’s not how happiness works. Happiness is the consequence of personal effort. You fight for it, strive for it, insist upon it, and sometimes even travel around the world looking for it. You have to participate relentlessly in the in the manifestations of your own blessings. And once you have achieved a state of happiness, you must never become lax about maintaining it, you must make a mighty effort to keep swimming upward into that happiness forever, to stay afloat on top of it. If you don’t, you will leak away your innate contentment.” – Elizabeth Gilbert, “Eat, Pray, Love”
Keep swimming!

Ohhh, I DO like that… keep swimming indeed!!!
And yummy dinner!

What a fabulous quote! I need to read this book.
Your spaghetti and meatballs look delicious. Serious comfort food right there.
I read it and loved it =) I can’t wait to see how the movie turns out
Yes, happiness is a state that results from an inward joy. Sometimes we have to fight to find it. Great thoughts today!
I could swim more and eat a little less.
I haven’t read the book although it’s on my list. Your citar today makes me want to run out and pick up a copy.
I have been meaning to read that book. Now it is on my must read list.
I am going through crazy bad morning sickness and nothing looks good to eat… but that plate of spaghetti actually makes me hungry!
I’ve never read that book, but it sounds good!
I loved that book!!!
Stopping by from SITS!!!

“Participate relentlessly” – I like that. Great, great quote!
I’m getting hungry looking at the picture
So very true, I love that book.
This is one of my favorite books! What better than a binge in Italy to begin one’s spiritual journey.
