What comes around…

Do

Do you believe in Karma?  Like what you do to other’s or put out there into the universe will turn eventually and come back to you? The good and bad? So does that mean, when something goes wrong in your life, it is some kind of punishment for your past wrongs? If someone hurts you, is that because you also hurt someone else? And then I guess that means we are all supposed to feel some kind of hurt for the hurt we inflicted?

Things happen for a reason. Really?

Fate and destiny… Is what happens to you a set, or predetermined course of events that will happen to you.  And so that means, if you fail, you were set to fail? If everything that happens to you is supposed to happen to you  no matter what you do, then really, there can’t be any such thing as choice or free will can there?

And no matter what you do, those things that happen, were just meant to be…they were meant to happen. Really?

I am thinking it is a combination of both destiny, fate and choices, or actions we take.

But – often times I do feel like things that happen to me, are a direct response to what I put out there and even the things I think about, and the actions I have taken and choices I have made in my life. It all comes around full circle, I really believe it does. And I will be totally honest, I have wished those who have wronged me to “get theirs” because it is only fair. Right?

Isn’t it  strange how one day you could feel so fortunate or like some also say “lucky” and the next day you feel punished and cursed? Like you have a great day and everything goes right, so that makes you lucky and feel grateful, yet when you have a terrible day and everything seems to go wrong, you feel like “why me?”

Do we have choices, free will to make our lives what they are?

Is Karma really a bitch?

Is it true that what comes around goes around? People always say “don’t worry, they will get theirs…” do they really?

  1. I am a firm believer in karma! Some of the most rotten people I know have gotten their due, and I feel like if I put out good, I’ll get good back. My grandmother always says, “Life is a circle. What you put in you get back eventually.”

  2. I don’t know if what comes around goes around, and it always seems that gramma or good ol’ dad has a favorite saying or belief. Thing of it is it sticks to us through the years. Mine was when one door closes, another one opens. I know with my own life I was married to a wife abuser for ten years & I finally got out, and now I’ve met my soulmate and I couldn’t be happier for the past 10 yrs. How did we meet? A wrong number. That’s the door that opened for me back in 1991. God will not give you more than you can handle.

  3. WElcome to my world. I too am a night owl but try not to think too much about others and their problems I think it will make me crazy.

Can’t save the world hubby always says.

    HUGS to you for carrying

    Love your pics

  4. “I am what I am today because of the choices I made yesterday.”
    — Eleanor Roosevelt

I saw this today and it gave me some insight I didn’t have before ….love that.

I do believe Life is a circle, yes.

    Thank you!

  5. I have a mixture view of karma, I don’t think it’s so powerful that if I steal someone’s pen that later I will get a pen stain on my shirt. I don’t think everytime you do something bad that it comes right back to you. My husband explains karma this way: it’s like a bank. If you do good things you put that into your bank and it works in your favor later on. If you do bad things it takes out of your bank and if you always do bad things you go into the negative. I like how he puts it, makes sense to me.

  6. I think that what goes around comes around in the sense that people who do good things generally have a better outlook than those who don’t. And those who are cruel, etc. generally are because they aren’t happy with themselves or their life in some way. So they have already gotten theirs so to speak. Not sure if this makes sense, but I just thought I’d put it out there.

Let me know how the rugelach turn out!

  7. I do believe that what goes around comes around. Negative people are going to attract negativity and positive people, positive. That doesn’t mean I don’t think bad things happen to good people, but I do think eventually it all comes back. :)

  8. I do believe that what comes around goes around. That said, I can’t figure out why some perfectly decent people have the worst stuff happen to them on a regular basis; what is UP with that?!

Also, when my dad died of leukemia just five days after being diagnosed (giving us time to say goodbye), we all felt like we were being given a gift; a payment of sorts for having had to put up with his abuse all of those many, early years. It was like God was saying, “You put up with a lot. Here’s your reward.” I loved my dad, but I honestly don’t miss him. We were truly blessed to not have had to go through a long, drawn-out period of suffering (us, as well as my mom).

    Great post.
