Spring is blooming or what?

No matter how long the winter, spring is sure to follow.  ~Proverb

Well, when is that going to happen?

Good ol’ Mother Nature must be confused right now, because it has been unseasonably cold here, and I must say, I am quite sick of it! I even wore long johns to sleep last night, and my coat to work the past few days.

One warm day a couple of weeks ago, I took my camera to work with me and shot some pictures of the Spring flowers on the route towards my office. I walk quite a lot from the train to my office.

I love Tulips so much – I love flowers, however, I do not love the pollen. I am still having sinus issues and am also quite sick of blowing my nose!

This cold and these clogged up sinuses are absolutely no fun at all! It is wearing me out!

Somehow, I still enjoy seeing flowers blooming, and these don’t last that long either.

You can see more here.

I don’t usually get to see tulips fully bloomed. I also noticed that since it has been cold, a lot of them died sooner than they probably should have,

Hope you all got to enjoy some Spring flowers!

I am sending a little prayer out to the Spring gods….

Bring us some warmth!

  6. Thanks for stopping at my blog! Hope you come back again soon.

There are lots of tulips outside my office, too. They bloomed so early this year, that they have all shed their petals and withered away already. It’s sad!

  7. Great photos Jen! The weather’s been really crazy this year, hasn’t it? I can’t wait for things to settle down, weather-wise. As for the pollen, it was really bad here a few weeks ago. You could literally see the pollen flying everywhere. It was like a dust bowl, minus the dust and replaced with pollen! I hope it warms up for you soon.
Thanks for stopping by and linking your WW post up over at my place. Have a great day.

  8. I hate tulips! They think they are so much better than other flowers. If you ask me, they are stuck up!

I’m kidding, of course. They are gorgeous. I only wish they lasted longer.

  9. These are amazing! Wish I could grow them. :o )

And today it feels like we skipped right to August. Ridiculous.

    Those pictures are amazing Jen!

Your flowers are fantastic! :-) So glad you got a glimpse of them before they were gone!

I’ve got tulips shots in my camera for tomorrow’s post (I think.) Did you see the shot I got on wednesday? So beautiful. And then, this morning, we awoke to 1/2″ of snow on the ground! Fortunately, it’s gone now…
